IELTS Exam Cut-Off 2023

Scored on a scale of 1 to 9, IELTS cut-offs for leading foreign universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Oxford, range between 7 and 8.

Generally, universities that accept IELTS 2023 scores pre-set the overall and sectional IELTS cut-off for different courses when evaluating an applicant’s English language proficiency. In fact, the university-wise minimum IELTS score requirement is considered the IELTS 2023 cut-off. Admission to these universities is based on the overall IELTS band score chart. IDP, the organisation in charge of administering the IELTS exam, does not announce any IELTS cut-off scores. IDP releases the TRF (Test Report Form) only and IELTS results at the same time.
